One Shot Challenge

Most AI videos you see are made up of short snippets and last no longer than 30 seconds.

One of the bigger challenges is consistency across multiple generations, especially in longer dialogues. This sketch was a test for the Trix Show. If it is ever going to run as a real series, longer dialogues and consistency between clips are a must.

Interestingly, the Hannes character in Seedance 2.5 actually seems to be developing a distinct, recognisable personality of his own.

Not quite me, but something all his own!

The one-shot challenge was real too. And I learned a few things along the way: my AI agent can create simple animations with a single prompt, but needs more guidance from me. On the other hand, I overdid my own prompts and need to give fewer details for video clips.

Producing this whole scene took considerably more work. It cost around 40 euros in AI credits, and that was only thanks to a 50 per cent discount at Dreamina.

More iterations would have given me more options for the acting and timing. More takes – more choice! Just like in real life, it all comes down to time and money!
